Cambridge University Bridge Club

The bridge club meets every Thursday of Full Term. We hold a light-hearted duplicate, and players of any standard are welcome—our current members range from beginners to international players. You can come along with or without a partner (we can always find someone to play with you).

We enter teams in the Eastern Counties League, the Portland Bowl (Inter-University Knockout competition), and other county and national competitions.

Membership costs £6 for the year (discounted after the Michaelmas term), and the Thursday duplicates are £1.50 for members and £2.50 for non-members. We hold a variety of social events throughout the year, including an Annual Dinner in the Lent Term, a Garden Party in the summer; and don't forget those two highlights of the annual Cambridge sporting calendar: the Football and Cricket Matches against the Chess Club and the Tiddlywinks Club respectively.
